I haven't investigated if it's possible to buy pro for just certain tables, or how much it would cost. Pro features are enabled on about a quarter of Season 1 tables (including turning on some family-unfriendly dialog in Elvira Scared Stiff), about half of S2, and everything from S3 on. It's just a tweaks menu and an emulation of the operator's menu found behind the coin slot in the physical machine. You can purchase an entire season for $30, or $40 if you want 'pro' features on some tables. Season 1 and 2 table packs seem to go for $5 each, and each pack has 2 tables (except for the 'core' pack which has 3 - Black Hole, Ripley's Believe it or Not, and Theatre of Magic, and three others: Terminator 2, ST:TNG, and Twilight Zone, which are sold singly - or in a pack of one, you could say). And gameplay seems fine, though I might be more forgiving than others when it comes to that. The controls are just like I remember from the 360. Just mashing A straight through takes you to the current season's table list to purchase (or play, if you have purchased already). Annoying, as I'm used to using the stick. To get to YOUR tables, you have to maneuver the menus on the D-pad and not the left stick.

It is similar to what I remember of the PC version - but admittedly I only downloaded it and poked around, have not purchased/played any of the tables. The menu interface is definitely not similar to the 360's. OK, now that I'm (a) at a computer and not a tablet, and (b) a few hours removed from playing tables and have thought about it, here's what. What should I burn a few bucks on next, folks? But I can't even say that about XMen and Ghost Rider. (I'll turn in my geek card and admit that I have no knowledge of the source material, though, which may have lent hints.) But the other three tables have really garish art, and poor sound. Moon Knight was pretty decent, except for the fact I'm totally lost about the modes and what triggers things. I also have the Marvel Vengeance and Virtue Pack, which I was pretty disappointed in. I do find the character balls somewhat hard to see, which is annoying. Too far fetched, maybe? I can't really explain why I haven't taken more to this one. I already have The Guardians of the Galaxy table, which wasn't bad, but I can't say it really grabbed me.

So far, my favorite table has been the free one - Sorcerer's Lair. As there is basically no preview, whatsoever on XB1, I just pick a pack at random every so often and I usually end up feeling slightly disappointed. I'm also interested in some table recommendations.
